Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia Recipe

Posted by

Parmesan-crusted tilapia is an easy recipe for weeknight dinners or special occasions. Since this Parmesan-crusted tilapia is quick to make, have the rest of your dinner ready when you start frying the fish. You can fry the fish in oil for this recipe for Parmesan crusted tilapia, but for a low-fat version, you can also spray the breaded filets with olive oil and bake them on a baking sheet in a 400° F oven for 8 to10 minutes. We use tilapia in this Parmesan-crusted tilapia recipe, but you can choose fillets of any white fish such as flounder, sole or haddock. Adding Parmigiano Reggiano® cheese to the breading mixture gives these mild-tasting fish a savory crunch.

Serve Parmesan-crusted tilapia on bed of Arugula Parmesan Salad or, for a comfort food kind of night, serve this Parmesan-crusted tilapia with Parmesan Mashed Potatoes and green beans or any other seasonal vegetable.
